Feedback from ICTEV Conference.

Hi everyone, thanks for visiting my page. I would like to share  all the wonderful things I learnt about at the ICTEV conference on the weekend. I hope to provide you with some useful information and resources to use in the classroom and for your own professional development. I encourage you to make a comment and share your ideas for others to see, and be inspired by.
John Pearce presented Edublogs, and here I am having my first go! I have  provided some valuable resources, such as  a tutorial for creating a blog in Edublogs  & Globalteacher that John shared with us. This blog of John’s may be useful for teachers.
My next session was to learn how to use the free software Monkey Jam  to create animations and use them in Movie Maker to produce movies. This was quite easy and would be great for students to use lego or plasticine to create small animations for maths or literature. Here are some more useful links provided by John Pearce, Photostory and Moviemaker.
Finally, Christine Trimnell shared with us some links to websites that are valuable resources for the interactive whiteboard.
I hope that you find this useful and please excuse any hiccups as they are inevitable when trying something new with technology!
